Pink Elephants is a 6 reel, 4 row slot played across 4096 paylines. Seeing pink elephants is a euphemism for drunken hallucination caused by alcoholic hallucinosis or delirium tremens. The term dates back to at least the early 20th century, emerging from earlier idioms about snakes and other creatures. An alcoholic character in Jack London’s 1913 novel John Barleycorn is said to hallucinate “blue mice and pink elephants”. Having spent 30 minutes chasing the bonus, I kind of started sensing the drunken hallucinations too. Waiting for the bonus to trigger in Pink Elephants is not the most exciting experience in all truth. The bonus, however, is a different beast altogether.
There’s really not super much going on in the base game and basically you’re just waiting for the bonus to drop. While there are plenty of stacked elephants on the reels, they rarely seem to connect although it can result in some decent payouts if they do. There is also a random feature called Mystery Scatter Symbol which can trigger the bonus for you at any time. Be prepared for teasing however.

Get three or more scatters to trigger the bonus game. The amount of free spins awarded depends on the number of scatters landing to trigger the feature. On in, Elephant Orbs are collected in order to fill the symbol meters. When a meter is filled, the symbol transforms into an Elephant symbol for the remainder of the feature, awarding an extra spin as well. Moreover, two scatters will reward two extra spins.
