Viking Clash has a bit of a different layout, featuring two 25-line reel sets: Red Reel Set and Green Reel Set. Each reel set includes 5 reels, with 3 rows per reel. It’s playable on all devices from 0.25 to 100 Euros and has a main game random feature and a free spins game. It’s quite a simplistic slot despite the unusual reel set. The game has a cartoonish viking’s theme quite similar to the popular Clash of Clans mobile video game, and comes along with a bombastic war drums beat.
Viking Clash Slot: Symbols & Features
Symbols on the reels include 3 different low value stones with viking runes and 8 high paying symbols in the form of axes, hammers, viking girls, viking boys, green vikings, red vikings, golden-geen viking and golden-red viking. The wild symbols are of the same value as the top paying regular symbol (golden-red viking), giving you a return of 16 times the stake for 5 across a payline.
The Wild Ship Feature is triggered randomly during the base game, and is similar to walking wild features seen in games such as Wild Heist (Thunderkick) and Jack And The Beanstalk (NetEnt). When the feature is triggered, a wave will pass over the reels, resulting in either a tease (just like the random feature in Fat Rabbit), or with a number of Wild Ship symbols appearing on the reels. The Wild Ships will land on reels 3 to 5 in any random position.
All reels on both reel sets remain static for the duration of the Wild Ship Feature. The Wild Ship symbols will sail across the reels horizontally from right to left, one reel at a time. Each time that the Wild Ship symbols stop, the reel sets that include at least one Wild Ship symbol are evaluated wins.
- If 3 or more Red Catapult and/or Green Cannon Scatter symbols land anywhere, the Free Games feature is triggered with 6 initial free spins.
- For each Red Catapult that is present when the bonus is triggered, a Wild Shield symbol is launched onto the Green reel set, in any position on the reel directly below each Red Catapult symbol.
- For each Green Cannon symbol that is present when the Free Games feature is triggered, a Wild Shield symbol is launched onto any random position on the Red reel set.
- During the bonus, for each Scatter symbol that lands, an additional free game is awarded and another Wild Shield symbol is added to the reels in the same manner as the the Free Games feature is triggered.
- If a Red Catapult or Green Cannon symbol launches a Wild Shield symbol on top of an existing Wild Shield, a multiplier will be added to the existing Wild Shield.
- Wild Shields are sticky and are held in place until the feature is complete.
