Wolf Legend Megaways Slot Game

Wolf Legend Megaways (Blueprint Gaming): Review

In this particular case, however, we have to admit that the resemblance to Buffalo Rising Megaways (Blueprint Gaming) is slightly off-putting. In fact, said game was most likely used as a template for Wolf Legend as, during our test round, we noticed that the developers had forgotten to change the title in the top right corner. Whatever the case, Wolf Legend is not a clone. It has a different RTP, a bigger max win and comes with an entirely new feature.

Free spins

At its core, Wolf Legend Megaways is similar to all the other Bonanza-type slots. It comes with 6 reels, each varying between 2 and 7 symbols in height on every spin, something that allows for up to 117,649 ways to win if fully expanded. It’s played using a cascading reels engine. After a win, the symbols that are part of the winning combination explodes and becomes replaced by new ones. These cascades continue, becoming part of a chain reaction, as long as new wins are formed.

Set against a canyon backdrop and with a howling soundtrack that’s not all too different from Buffalo Rising Megaways, it has the feel of the American wild west. The reels here feature A to 9 royals alongside bald eagles, bison, cougars and golden wolves. The latter is the most rewarding, giving you 50 times your stake if you land 6 on adjacent reels. The wolf with the super moon backdrop is the wild and can only appear in the 4 positions above the reels.

Wolf Legend Megaways (Blueprint Gaming): Features

Keep an eye out for the special canyon sunset symbol, also known as the Mystery Symbol. All instances of the mystery symbol will transform into the same matching symbol (bar the scatter) to create a winning combination.

The howling wolf is the scatter. Land at least 3 of them anywhere on the reels and you’ll trigger the bonus feature. There is no set amount of free spins on offer here. Instead, each scatter will give you a random number of spins ranging from 1 to 5. Before the bonus is played, however, you’re taken to the Golden Streak feature where you’ll get another chance to win more free spins.

Starting with up to 3 lifelines (3, 4 or 5+ scatters gives you 1, 2 or 3 lifelines respectively), every scatter that appears in view adds another 1 to 5 free spins to your total. If a spin is played without landing a scatter, you lose one lifeline. The Golden Streak feature ends when all lifelines have been lost. It’s not over yet, however. You’re now taken to the Gamble screen where you can choose to walk away to play the bonus with the free spins you have won, or gamble in hope to win up to 3 extra lifelines and more Golden Streak spins. Be careful – losing the gamble means you’ll also miss out on the bonus.

The Free Spins feature is played like any other Bonanza-type slot where each cascade increases the multiplier by 1. You can also retrigger the feature – 3 or 4 scatters will give you 5 or 10 extra free spins respectively. If you don’t feel like waiting for the bonus to drop, you can also buy it for 75 times your total stake using the Legend Free Spins Bonus Buy feature.
