Planet Fortune is what Play’n GO describes as a “retro-futuristic” game. The slot has 5 reels, 4 rows and 40 fixed paylines. The bet size range from 0.20 to 100 and max win is 2500x. According to information from PnG, Planet Fortune is a high volatile game, but it has to be put into perspective. It is certainly no Dead or Alive in comparison.
If playing on a casino using a Malta license for the game, you can expect an RTP of either 96.50% or 94.49%. Any other type of license may offer an RTP much lower than this. If uncertain, check the help file of the game. If RTP is not stated, you’re not playing on a Malta license.
There are 6 premium symbols which are all placed on stacks of 2, 3 or 4 symbols. The low value symbols are not stacked and are represented by A, K, Q, J and 10. The game also includes a wild symbol, which is represented by a robot, and of course, substitutes for any other symbol.
Planet Fortune: Main Game & Free Spins
Unlike many of the other slots released by PnG in recent times, Planet Fortune is straight forward and easy to learn. It has a classic reel setup and no crazy combinations or features that will give you headaches. There are pretty much two objectives in the main game – to land as many stacked reels with premium symbols as possible and to land 3 robot wilds to trigger the free spins.
To add more action, there’s something called the Magnetic Mayhem. When this random feature is triggered, two or three reels stick together by 2×2 or 3×3 sized symbols. In other words, you will not get fully stacked reels. Unfortunately, wilds can not appear on the attached Mayhem reels.
Three or more robots appearing on any reels will award you 10 free spins, or Robot Revolution Free Spins, as PnG likes to call it. Everytime a wild symbol lands during the free spins, it will stay on the screen, but walk move to the left by 1 for every spin. This is a feature better known as “walking wilds”. The free spins feature cannot be re-triggered.
